Find A Way feat. Dr. Janell Royster
Military, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, and First Responders with PTSD
PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) is at an epidemic proportion in the military and first responder community. The VA estimates 22 veterans commit suicide each day, yes, every day! There are many more that occur throughout the first responder community. This was the inspiration for Find A Way. Dr. Janell Royster, aka Dr. J, works with this community every day and gives hope to the hopeless and helps them Find A Way.
Find A Way
Find a way is a song about a person at the end of hope. They feel as though they have taken a life and run it hopelessly into the ground with no hope of redemption. But no matter how hard the day, you’ve got to Find A Way.
Dr. J Works Her Magic Called TRIP
In the last verse of the song the subject wakes up to a new day, a new sense of hope, and a positive outlook for the future. “…everything has changed! This is what happens when you experience TRIP (Trauma Recovery Intervention Protocol). TRIP is a process developed by Dr. J. It is a series of visualizations that disconnect the neurological response from a memory. This minimizes and in some cases completely eliminates the symptoms of PTSD
